The Department of Urology offers a Society of Urologic Oncology-accredited two-year fellowship in urologic oncology.Our goal is to prepare aspiring urologic oncologists for a career characterized by leadership and innovation in urologic oncology, while providing a multidisciplinary and disease-based focus and understanding of urologic oncology. The Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Tower/Health McGlinn Cancer Institute is a three-year, ACGME-accredited program. There are currently 2 fellows year each with potential plans of growing to 3 fellows per year. The program was a combined program with Jefferson for 4 years before becoming a Fellowship Overview. Neuro-Oncology is a growing subspecialty that is in constant evolution as novel diagnostic strategies, therapeutics, and prognostic factors are being discovered. Basic science and clinical trials play a pivotal role in this subspecialty to improve outcomes for neuro-oncological disorders.
